A spike was recognized when ictal activity was shorter than 200 ms and exceed 2,5- to 25- fold the baseline amplitude with a minimum value of 125 µV. Spike trains were defined when at least a minimum of 4 spikes was included which occur in intervals between 30 and 1000 ms. This spike train should have a minimum duration of 300 ms.
